Love this app
The last update really seems to have corrected my memory concerns. I use the app every day and is an important tool for pain management. The reports give you and your doctor a visual history to refer to. It's better than the old days where the doctor asks how you have been and I say "Good days and bad days".
Another important feature is tracking your pain medication usage. It is an impossible chore to keep up with without a tool to help.
I love this app. It helps me give my doctors a more accurate measurement of my pain. I really like that I can email the data in several forms. My doctor thought it was a great app. His only question was "Can you change the color of the green guy?" lol The only reason I gave this app 4 stars. Is becuz there is always room for improvement.
WAS a great 5-star app, but now has major bug that needs to be fixed :(

**** UPDATED REVIEW FOR LATEST RELEASE, v2.5.7 (3/6/2011) ****
This is a wonderful app with a major memory management problem. In my experience the app runs slower and slower aa you create more entries, and evenutally the app breaks and its nearly impossible to fix (even by deleting the app and reinstalling it.
Having said this, the developer is working hard to resolve the issue. I also have found this is be by-far the best pain mgmt/ medication mgmt app for the iphone. When this app works there is no comparison.
Also, the developer seems to be a very nice person and very open and reaponsive to enhancement requests or bug reports.
If the memory mgmt problem (that seems to limit this to about 50-60 pain entries before the app breaks) is fixed, then this is an excellent app and well worth the price. However, until the memory problem ia resolved, it seema we're stuck with an awesome app that only works for about 50-60 pain entries. This is a major limitation :(
Let's hope the memory bug is fixed soon becauae that is the only bad thing i can say about this app.
**** UPDATED REVIEW FOR LATEST BIG RELEASE (2/9/2010) ****
The latest major update provides a lot of new functionality. I can now easily produce graphical reports for my doctor which can be kept in my patient records. The pain locations can be painted on the front and back of the body in as much detail as you like. There are a fair amount of bugs at the moment but the developer is very responsive with bug fixes and enhancements. This app is worth many times what the developer charges, it is a steal and he is very generous to charge so little yet invest so much energy into improving the app. I highly recommend this, just be patient as the bugs in the new version are resolved.
******* ORIGINAL REVIEW *******
I use this app 5-6 times every day to track my pain and also my pain medication usage. It is now an integral part of my pain management, and is also helping me understand the nature of my chronic pain better.
Frankly this app is worth far more than the asking price.
Not only does this allow me to look for trends in my chronic pain and also keep track of my medication usage; my doctors also love this because it allows them to better understand my pain and to monitor that I am using my medications responsibly.
It would be helpful to distinguish between front and back, and to have more grainularity in mapping what parts of the body hurt, but I believe these features are under development.
<FEATURE ADDED IN LATEST RELEASE>
The application developer is very responsive to bug reports and enhancement requests. (In fact, I am not aware of any bugs in the current version.) He seems to be a very kind, generous, and giving person.
I would recomend this app in a heartbeat!
